ASPRS to Present 'Hot Topics' at ILMF
The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) will hold “Hot Topics” sessions at the International LiDAR Mapping Forum (ILMF) on Feb. 17-19 in Denver.
ASPRS, which sets data format and accuracy standards for kinematic laser scanning, will provide updates on the group’s activities associated with LiDAR and point cloud processing on Monday, Feb. 17.
The sessions will touch on the following topics:
- The new concept of LAS Domain Profiles
- The newly created bathometric profile for littoral mapping
- Accuracy metrics being jointly developed by the ASPRS and the USGS for LiDAR calibration and project geometric correction
- Best practices specifications for mobile laser scanning
