The Joint Agency Commercial Imagery Evaluation (JACIE) team will hold the 2014 JACIE Workshop on March 26-28, in conjunction with the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Annual Conference in Louisville, Ky.
The program planning for JACIE and ASPRS will integrate speakers and highlights into a few ASPRS hot topics sessions. In addition, ASPRS will provide attendees to the JACIE Workshop the opportunity to register for a combined JACIE/ASPRS experience
“Holding the JACIE Workshop in conjunction with the ASPRS Conference is a win-win for ASPRS and JACIE both technically and programmatically; the ability to allow government and industry technical experts a common forum to discuss how to enhance the quality of remote sensing systems and data to better support societal need applications is invaluable,” said JACIE spokesman Greg Stensaas, of the U.S. Geological Survey.
“This is a great opportunity to bring together the large government agencies with private industry and end users of the remote sensing data,” said ASPRS President Elect Stewart Walker. “Our exhibitors will be pleased to see the inclusion of the JACIE Workshop with the ASPRS Conference.”
