Richmond Hill, Ontario-based PCI Geomatics, a developer of remote sensing and photogrammetric software and systems, announced that it has appointed Yubin Xin to the position of executive director, greater China region.

“Mr. Xin has been with PCI Geomatics for over 17 years and is a key part of PCI’s success in China,” said Terry Moloney, president and CEO of PCI Geomatics.

PCI Geomatics first opened a local office in Beijing in 2008, with Xin leading its establishment and expansion. Today, PCI China staff work closely with PCI Geomatics’ exclusive distributor, Beijing Space Eye Inc. (BSEI), to provide support to customers in China on a daily basis.

Xin has an extensive background in the remote sensing industry and holds multiple degrees from China and Canada in the fields of surveying and computer science.
