Decatur, Ala.-based 3-GIS announced it has been awarded a five-year United States General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract. The contract allows 3-GIS to offer an array of its GIS products and services to nearly 100 government entities.

A GSA schedule contract permits government agencies to purchase commercial goods and services using prenegotiated terms and pricing with the purpose of streamlining the procurement process for government customers. The contract is effective until April 2018.

“3-GIS currently provides geospatial information systems solutions to several government entities and organizations across the nation,” said Tommy Siniard, chief technical officer for 3-GIS. “Securing the GSA contract is an important next step in our strategy for growth with government agencies.”

3-GIS offers secure solutions to a variety of industries, including gas, water and electric utilities and the telecommunication industry.
