Eye on Earth to Hold First User Conference
The first Eye on Earth user conference will be held March 4-6 at The Convention Center Dublin in Ireland.
Eye on Earth is an online GIS tool and public information network for creating and sharing environmentally relevant data and information. It has been developed by the European Environment Agency (EEA) with Esri and Microsoft.
The conference will bring together information providers and data users in the field of environment and sustainability. Planners expect to explore the role of the Eye on Earth network in global initiatives such as the Group on Earth Observations, UNEP-Live and the Eye on Earth Abu Dhabi Summit. Registration and more information is available online.
The conference is part of a week of discussions on GIS to be held in Dublin. The ENVIROFI Conference (Environmental Observation Web and its Service Applications within the Future Internet) will be held on March 6, and the EUROGI (European Umbrella Organisation for Geographic Information) imaGine Conference takes place March 7-8. Register for both events online.
