Topcon Positioning Systems introduced the HiPer V receiver with Vanguard technology.

Ewout Korpershoek, TPS senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said, “Topcon’s GNSS product portfolio is unmatched in the industry, both in breadth and performance. Our objective has always been to offer our most advanced technology to all markets. Now with Vanguard onboard the HiPer V, there is no other one-stop source for the most advanced, affordable and productive GNSS receivers regardless of the application.

“Following Topcon’s tradition of leadership in utilizing multi-constellation GNSS systems,” Korpershoek said, “the HiPer V provides users not only the choice of GPS and GLONASS signals (as well as Galileo when operationally available), but it also includes a variety of choices of internal radio, cellular and Bluetooth® communication options, as well as state-of-the-art power supply.”

The core of the HiPer V, Korpershoek said, “is the new Vanguard GNSS technology, the most advanced GNSS signal tracking and processing architecture available in the marketplace.” With its 226 channels and Universal Tracking, the Vanguard chipset will track signals from all available and currently planned GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellites.
