The University of Salzburg’s Department of Geoinformatics – Z_GIS is organizing and holding a short intensive program on the state of the art in LiDAR science, methods and technologies, with the support of the European LiDAR Mapping Forum. The course is designed around and closely integrated with the European LiDAR event, bringing top visionaries, key developers and technology representatives into an intensive, small group learning environment.

Invited are graduate students, young researchers and junior staff with a focus on research, development and applications involving LiDAR technologies and methods. Sponsors from the LiDAR and wider geospatial communities have pledged a number of scholarships for top candidates interested in the course. Participants will have full access to the ELMF (Dec. 4 - 5, 2012, Salzburg, Austria).
