KS Associates' President Inducted into CES Hall of Fame
Lynn S. Miggins, P.E., president of KS Associates, has received the Cleveland Engineering Society (CES) Hall of Fame Award – the highest award given to an individual by the Society. The award is presented to engineers or design/construction professionals to honor outstanding achievements or careers in the fields of engineering, architecture or construction.
Recipients must demonstrate a track record of working toward the betterment of professional efforts, beyond the day-to-day routine of work and business. They must also have made outstanding contributions to the profession, the public welfare and/or humankind.
According to Lori Marlow, program manager at CES, "Lynn is an astute business owner and a talented professional engineer who works hard to propel, improve and promote her firm and the engineering industry. She holds leadership positions with trade organizations, is committed to education and is involved in philanthropic activities. She exemplifies her firm's core values of treating clients like gold, respecting employees, operating ethically and giving back to the community."
Miggins is majority owner as well as president of KS Associates. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2012, KS provides civil engineering and land surveying services to public and private sector clients in the areas of transportation, municipal services, site development and land surveying.
Under Miggins' leadership, KS has provided professional services to northeast Ohio's most prominent engineering and architecture firms, local and state governments and public agencies, public and private educational institutions, healthcare providers, retailers and developers.
