THSOA Announces Mid West Chapter
New chapter to hold inaugural meeting in June
The Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA) would like to announce the formation of the Mid West Chapter. The newly formed chapter will serve as a focal point for hydrographic activities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The chapter will hold its inaugural meeting in Chicago in June.
In order to make the inaugural meeting a success, THSOA is asking that interested members take the Mid West Chapter member survey. Questions in the survey include:
- Are you interested in participating in the Mid West Chapter?
- Would you be able to attend bi-annual meetings?
- Are you interested in becoming an officer for the Mid West Chapter?
- Would your employer sponsor/host a future meeting?
- Would your employer partly or fully fund the event?
Members who fill out the member survey and leave their information will be contacted. The Mid West Chapter plans on having its second meeting in December and encourages those interested to subscribe to its emails to receive the Mid West Chapter News.
