SimActive’s Correlator3D software has been purchased by GeoFIT Americas, a subsidiary of Groupe FIT. The software is used for image processing from UAVs in sizable mapping projects.
“With our acquisition of a high-end drone, we needed comparable software to complete our solution,” says Sylvain Laroche, operations director of GeoFIT Americas. “Following analysis of various solutions on the market, the SimActive product rapidly emerged as our choice.”
Philippe Simard, president of SimActive, says Groupe FIT has been at the forefront of European photogrammetry for decades. “SimActive remains the only viable solution for this category, justifying the quick selection of Correlator3D by GeoFIT Americas.”
Live demonstrations of Correlator3D software will be featured at booth 408 at the SPAR 3D Expo and Conference, April 11 to 14 in Texas.
