North Carolina Survey Firm Makes Top Trenchless List
Second consecutive year McKim & Creed makes the Trenchless Technology top 50
Engineering and survey firm McKim & Creed Inc. has been named one of the top 50 trenchless design firms in the U.S. for the second year in a row by TrenchlessTechnology magazine.
For 2015, McKim & Creed ranked number 29 among the top 50 firms, performing nearly 400 projects in 2014 that involved horizontal directional drill, sanitary sewer evaluations studies and subsurface utility engineering.
McKim & Creed has won several awards for its trenchless work, including an Engineering Excellence Honors Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina for a 30-inch watermain installation under the Catawba River. The firm also earned a Project of the Year Award by the American Public Works Association, Florida Chapter, for a subaqueous horizontal design drill project that protected environmentally-sensitive areas in the Florida Keys.
Trenchless Technology is a publication covering the trenchless technology marketplace. In its annual Top 50 listing, the publication ranks companies based on their reported North American trenchless project billings.
