Teledyne Optech has welcomed Wenjie Wang as its general manager for China. In his new position, Wang will work in Teledyne’s growing office in Beijing to provide his in-depth experience to existing and prospective clients. He will report directly to Don Carswell, president of Teledyne Optech.

“I am excited and honored to join the team as Teledyne Optech is the industry leader delivering state-of-the-art products to the geospatial market,” Wang says. “Teledyne Optech will build on its reputation as a trusted partner by continuing to focus on delivering high-quality products and professional local support.”

Wang has more than 20 years of experience in the surveying and mapping sectors. Prior to coming to Teledyne Optech, he worked in senior management roles in Intergraph Corporation and Leica Geosystems for sales, marketing and support. His responsibilities with Teledyne Optech as general manager include overall responsibility for the company in China, including expanding the team to strengthen sales, delivery, training, local inventory and client support. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Xian Highway University.

“We are very excited to offer Teledyne Optech clients in China the benefit of Wenjie’s experience,” Carswell says. “Through Wenjie, we will participate in the dynamic survey community in Beijing. We look forward to working collaboratively with our clients in China to develop exactly the technologies that are needed to support their growth.”
