Five hydrographic survey systems obtained by the Galveston district
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Galveston District has obtained five HydroLite-TM hydrographic survey systems, supplier Seafloor Systems has announced.
Each integrated hydrographic system is equipped with the SonarMite Echo Sounder, and features a portable, integrated hydrographic survey solution that quickly measures and logs depths and is adaptable to any vessel.
Just recently, the USACE-Buffalo District acquired the HydroLite-TM and HyDrone- RCV, which were connected with a Trimble data collector, a Trimble GPS with Bluetooth, and Trimble Access software.
Current U.S. Army Corps districts using the HydroLite-TM include Alaska, Buffalo, Galveston, Memphis, Philadelphia, Rock Island and Sacramento. Seafloor Systems, Inc. is a provider of specialized survey equipment to the hydrographic and geophysical survey community.
