Carlson Software unveiled Simplicity Sight Survey 2014, which provides methods for solving common coordinate geometry and construction surveying problems.

A companion product for Carlson Survey users working in AutoCAD and IntelliCAD environments, Simplicity Sight Survey 2014 can draw directly in MicroStation.Carlson_simplicity_inbody

Commands such as Field-to-Finish, Contouring, Edit-Process Raw Data and Network Least Squares work just as they do within Carlson Survey.

Simplicity Sight Survey 2014, a Windows-based coordinate geometry program, can run without a CAD application, allowing users flexibility.

The software works on six different versions of MicroStation V8 and features Field-to-Finish that are identical whether working in CarlsonSurvey or Microstation. It also works with current versions of AutoCAD and IntelliCAD.

“It’s perfect for DOTs or for firms working with DOTs,” said Bruce Carlson, the president of Carlson Software.

Simplicity Sight Survey is now available. For more information, go to
