3D Laser Mapping announced it has added a new data recording system to its ZEB1 mobile mapping system.
The ZEB1, which was launched in 2012, is a handheld, rapid-laser mapping system. The ZEB-DL2600 data logger is designed to make the ZEB1 easier to use and

eliminates the need for a separate laptop and power supply.
The handheld ZEB-DL2600 data logger records in real time the individual laser scanned measurements captured by the ZEB1. It is a rugged (IP65) system that incorporates an embedded Intel Atom dual-core processor and 64GB solid state drive in an aluminum enclosure.
Data capture and data download is fully automated and controlled by tri-colored LEDs. The device also features an integrated Lithium battery pack that powers both the data logger and ZEB1 laser scanner.
