DALLAS – GeoShack opened their 20th store with the opening of a new location in Tulsa, Okla. The expansion came as a result of the acquisition of Bomar Enterprises, a long time survey supply house in Tulsa owned by Bob Steele since 1975.

GeoShack’s entry into the Tulsa market expands their footprint in the state and will bring a higher level of customer service to companies throughout Oklahoma. They are adding Topcon, Sokkia and Futtura equipment to the business that Bomar Enterprises started. Steele has a great reputation in the wood supply business, and GeoShack will continue to provide the level of service his customers enjoyed. GeoShack will have a full service store including a construction lasers, total stations, GPS, survey instruments, supplies and accessories, as well as service and support.

Danny Hays recently transferred from Dallas to Tulsa, as the positioning specialist for Oklahoma. Hays brings a wealth of knowledge to the area with over 30 years of experience, and will be able to work with all levels of professional surveyors, contractors, government and construction companies to provide the answers and the right equipment to get the job done. Hays said, “I’m excited about this new opportunity to bring the level of service that GeoShack has to offer to companies in Tulsa and throughout Oklahoma.”

GeoShack North America is also moving their retail store from Exeter to London, Ontario effective Aug. 7, 2012. The telephone and fax numbers will remain the same, as will the level of customer service. GeoShack is the Topcon Master Dealer in Ontario and Quebec, due to their full line of construction lasers, total stations, GPS, machine control and survey instruments.
