So, this company is making a cellphone app that uses georeferenced "fences" in a cause-effect relationship. While the idea is exciting in its potential, the real question is where do they get their data? The "fences" are going to depend on cadastral data, which is based on boundary surveys. Seems like an opportunity to me, selling our databases to them on a yearly subscription, but what do you all think?
