COFPAES, the Council on Federal Procurement of Architectural & Engineering Services, will host a Federal Markets Conference on Thursday, September 22, 2011. The conference is a one-day look at where the work is in the Federal Government.

"The COFPAES Federal Markets Conference is designed to bring together the federal government and the private sector for discussions on programs, budgets and procurement opportunities in the Architect-Engineer (A-E) and related services field," said John Palatiello, COFPAES Administrator.

Each invited government agency will present information on its current program, the anticipated FY12 budget, and the agency's requirements for acquisition of A-E services from the private sector that is on the horizon.

Industries and markets that will be covered include Water & Transportation Infrastructure, Buildings, Defense and Security, Natural Resources and International.
