Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) has released two new series of reflectorless total stations – the GPT-3200NW and GPT-3200N.
The GPT-3200NW series offers an array of new features that includes enhanced non-prism measurement performance, improved user interface, and increased onboard data collection capability. The series includes two, three, five and seven arc-second models: GPT-3202NW, GPT3203NW, GPT-3205NW and GPT-3207NW.
Denny Welch, senior vice president of the TPS Survey Business Unit, said, “Improvements have been made while maintaining field-proven durability and portability for the user. The industry-leading technologies of the new series will maximize work efficiency and maximize safety with a Class I/1M safe laser for distance measurement that allows safe use even in areas with heavy traffic.”
The new GPT-3200NW series has an extended non-prism range with a refinement of the pulse EDM with measuring distances up to 1,310 feet (400m) range without a reflector.
The standard onboard software, TopField and Road, increases efficiency in topographical data collection, construction layout, as well as road stakeout tasks. The newly added 24-key alphanumeric keyboard allows for quick input of point numbers, codes, attributes and other necessary data.
In addition to the extended range, other standard features include:
- Class I/1M Safe Pulse Laser EDM
- Laser Pointer for NP Measurement and Layout
- 24-key Alphanumeric Keyboard
- TopField and Road Onboard Software
- Point Guide for Stakeout/Layout
- Laser Plummet for Quick Setup (GPT-3200N series has an optical plummet)
- Bluetooth® Wireless Connectivity (GPT-3200NW models only)
- IP66 Dust and Water Protection
