Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) announced the launch of the Trimble VRS Now RTK correction data services for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg delivering centimeter-level positioning for RTK receivers throughout these countries. The Trimble VRS Now service supplies fast, easy-to-use and accurate Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning for a variety of applications including precision agriculture, surveying, construction, asset management, environmental monitoring, disaster prevention and relief, weather services and scientific research.
The Trimble VRS Now Benelux service joins the existing Trimble VRS Now services in Germany, the UK, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, and many states in the U.S.
In addition, new service plans allow users to perform precise positioning with centimeter-level accuracy in all Trimble VRS Now RTK networks across Europe, simplifying access to high-precision GNSS corrections. Today, Trimble is the first and only network RTK service provider that allows users to roam across multiple countries without added complexity. Customers can also accurately track their assets in real time across large areas with the included iScope service.
VRS Now service is based on Trimble’s unique VRS technology, which combines sophisticated algorithms with experience and its field-proven Continuous Operating Reference Station (CORS) hardware.
