Merrick & Company announced the certification of six individuals as Geographic Information Systems
Professionals (GISP).
Merrick
& Company is pleased to announce the certification of six individuals
as Geographic Information Systems Professionals (GISP). The certification is provided by the GIS
Certification Institute, GISCI, a professional organization that establishes
professional practice standards and competencies and certifies individuals in
ethical conduct and professional practice. Applicants must meet certain standards in educational achievement,
professional experience, and contributions to the profession in order to be
certified.
The individuals now certified in
Merrick’s Aurora, Colorado office include Bruce Adey,
photogrammetry/light detection and ranging (LiDAR) lead; Jorge Aguayo,
photogrammetrist II; Josh Beck, LiDAR/digital imaging discipline lead; William
Howell, defense solutions manager; Allen Paton, geospatial solutions manager;
and David Pierson, senior photogrammetrist.
