earthmine and Aero-Metric Partner to Bring Integrated Street-Level Data Sets to U.S. Mapping Market

BERKELEY, CA and SHEBOYGAN, WI – earthmine incorporated and Aero-Metric, Inc. announced a strategic alliance designed to bring terrestrial and aerial remote sensing products to the professional mapping market in the United States. Aerometric, a leading U.S. aerial mapping company with offices in 12 states, has become an earthmine Project Partner, offering the value-added resale of earthmine’s street-level 3D data, software and services. earthmine and Aero-Metric’s collaboration will provide customers throughout the Unites States tightly integrated aerial and street-level data sets for a wide variety of asset inventory and conditional assessment applications, as well as advanced 2D and 3D geo-spatial products and solutions.

According to Terry Keating, CTO, Aero-Metric, "earthmine has an exciting street-level 3D mapping technology that not only complements, but expands our current service offering. Aero-Metric clients are now able to inspect and measure their assets and infrastructure through high resolution 360o panoramic imagery without leaving their office. All mobile mapping projects will have the option to be delivered as a hosted solution, minimizing data handling, and capital investments in hardwa re and software for our clients. This new capability will be integrated into all our product offerings, starting with our local government and transportation mapping applications."
