Retired land surveyor celebrates 60th anniversary.

Robert and Beverly Liedle Scow were married on Jan, 7, 1950, in Boulder.

Robert worked for the Montana Highway Department until he retired after 30 years of service. Then he owned Professional Land Surveyor Inc., and retired in July 2008.

Since retirement, they spend summers in Helena and winters in Youngtown, Ariz.

Their children are: James and Caryn (Hanick) Scow of Helena; Caren (Scow) and John Fisher of Renton, Wash.; Jeffrey and Alice (Williams) Scow of Helena.

Grandchildren are: Erica and Alisa of Helena; Amy of San Diego; Johnathan of Renton, Wash.; Joseph in the Air Force in Germany; Justin in the Marines at 29 Palms, Calif.; and Kaloni and Kiana of Helena.

They celebrated their 60th Anniversary on Jan. 7, 2010 renewing their wedding vows at the Methodist Church in Youngtown with a reception afterwards.
