Nashuatelegraph.com: MERRIMACK – When Cynthia Seneca and Guy Praria married 25 years ago, they received a hammock as a wedding gift.
Not long afterwards, the couple bought a cape at 3 Spruce St. in Merrimack, hanging the hammock in their backyard between a white pine and a tall oak.
Today, the hammock and trees remain, but according to a neighboring outlet mall developer, the back part of the couple's property – which includes a shed and at least one of the trees – actually belongs to them.
In early June, attorneys representing Merrimack Premium Outlets, LLC – a subsidiary of developer Chelsea Property Group – sent a letter to Praria and Seneca stating that the couple's shed is encroaching on the company's land.
