Raleigh, NC - Benchmark Tool & Supply, a North Carolina based distributor supplying products and supplies to the construction, surveying and engineering industries, announces today the launching of their new online store: www.benchmarksupply.com. The new online store will provide a fully integrated site where customers can navigate through the product selections, viewing individual products and features, make comparisons between manufacturers and order products through a secure connection. In addition to the e-commerce tool, customers will be able to view information about upcoming product launches, sign up for training sessions and get the latest industry news.

Benchmark is one of the state’s leading suppliers to the construction, engineering and surveying industries and works with clients throughout North and South Carolina. Chuck Harris, president of Benchmark, says the time was right to move into a deeper online presence and introduce the online product catalog.

“We have seen the construction industry tighten in the last year or two, just as all industries have been affected by the downturn in the economy,” he explains. “Our clients are continually looking at the bottom line and searching for ways to improve their efficiency. Many of the products we carry are tools that will increase their productivity in the field - whether it’s a GPS machine control system for a motorgrader or a fleet management system for their trucks, these tools are helping our clients take control of cost. Our online store is really a response to what our clients have been asking for and we are presenting it in a way that is easy for them to use.”

Benchmark Tool & Supply has service centers in Raleigh and Concord, NC and offers product training, rental and sales as well as service and repair from each location. The company carries a full line of supplies and represents an extensive product line including industry-leading manufacturers such as Topcon, Magellan, Carlson, Sokkia, MicroSurvey, CST/Berger and Seco.
