The regional board is composed of 10 members whose responsibility is to help the organization advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences and promote responsible application of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies. Patterson’s term of office is two years and will begin in May.
At Dewberry, Patterson is responsible for managing remote sensing projects requiring aerial imagery, image interpretation, feature extraction, light detection and radar (LiDAR), and GIS. He is a Florida licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) with more than 30 years’ experience in photogrammetry, mapping, and GIS.
