DAYTON, Ohio - Woolpert, a national design and
engineering firm with one of the nation’s largest staff of geospatial
professionals, recently announced Matt Schrader, PLS, as director of the firm’s
survey group.
Schrader moves into the position of survey
director with more than 16 years of experience working with federal and state
clients throughout the Midwest to develop large engineering design applications.
Schrader joined Woolpert in 2000 and has overseen Woolpert’s Midwest survey
operations since 2006. His career experience also includes developing software,
hardware and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality for GPS and
conventional survey projects.
“Matt has played an integral role in the growth
and success of our survey group’s Midwest operations,” said Paul Grodecki,
Woolpert COO. “His in-depth technical knowledge will be a great asset to both
our national survey operations and our clients as we build on the expertise
needed to continue providing clients with robust and innovative geospatial
project solutions.”
Schrader is a licensed professional surveyor in
Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. He is currently a member of the Illinois
Geographic Information Systems Association (ILGISA), Illinois Professional Land
Surveyors Association (IPLSA), Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS)
and Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
