Salt Lake City– Engineering giant, CH2M Hill selects
InteliSum’s LD3 technology to venture further into the scanning market.
As CH2M Hill has continued to expand in company size it has continually
investigated new services it can offer its clients.
Recently, a focus has been placed on remote sensing
services. In order to pursue this decision, the company enlisted several
well-known industry veterans, with the emphasis being veterans of LiDAR
Scanning. Among these is John Brown, Senior HDS Practice Lead, of CH2M Hill and
well-respected member of the scanning community.
The company also felt that in addition to the personnel, it
was essential to gather technologies that would help them achieve their
goals. Among these is InteliSum’s LD3 technology, which combines 3D LiDAR
information, GPS/GCS location, and digital imagery into an instant 3D model at
capture.
Frank Algarin, InteliSum’s VP Sales remarked “To have an
industry icon like CH2M Hill validate and endorse LD3 technology is very
powerful. They are very serious about building their High Definition
Survey (HDS) business and have chosen to build their scanning business on LD3.”
This technology has already found applications in several
large industries, including the rail industry AEC market, and the Oil and Gas
industries. CH2M Hill has identified several current projects where this
technology is applicable.
Chris Royak, CH2M Hill, survey manager calls the agreement,
“…a union of the latest in technology with the proven experience of CH2M Hill.”
