Christopher Sherry, PE, has been promoted to the position of
vice president, corporate services and Mark Henline, CPA, has been promoted
to the position of chief financial officer and corporate treasurer.
Aurora, Colorado –Merrick & Company, (
www.merrick.com) a $75 million engineering,
architecture, surveying, and geospatial solutions firm, has announced the
promotion of two individuals. Christopher
Sherry, PE, has been promoted to the position of vice president, corporate
services, where he will be responsible for the
company’s financial services, information technology, risk management, and
stock programs. Mark Henline, CPA,
has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer and corporate treasurer,
where he will oversee the accounting, facilities, and corporate treasury
functions within the firm.
Prior to this promotion, Sherry served in the
capacity of operations vice president where he oversaw all design activities in
the company’s facilities, science, and technology business unit. Sherry has been with Merrick for 20 years and
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado,
Boulder. He also holds an MBA degree from the Daniels
College of Business, University
of Denver.
Henline has been with Merrick
for two years. Previously, at Merrick, he was responsible for the financial services
department as the controller. Prior to
joining the firm, Henline was the corporate controller for Conestoga-Rovers
& Associates, Inc., an environmental engineering firm headquartered in Niagara Falls, New
York. He holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Alfred University.
