A local land surveyor wants Iredell County officials to decide - once and for all - the official spelling of one of its townships.
Ted Benbow plans to address the Iredell County Board of Commissioners at its regular meeting Tuesday about how different organizations, including the N.C. Department of Transportation, have spelled Cool Spring. Or is it Cool Springs?
“I don’t care what it’s called as long as it’s consistent,” he said.
