Irvine, CA- Bob Crawford, P.L.S., Executive Vice President of RBF
Consulting, was inducted into the California Apprenticeship Hall of Fame at the
2008 Conference on Apprenticeship in San
Jose. The California Apprenticeship
Council adopted the concept of a California Apprenticeship Hall of Fame to
officially recognize individuals who, though their effort, devotion and
commitment, have made significant and long lasting contributions to
apprenticeship in the State of California.
"I am truly honored to be inducted into the
Apprenticeship Hall of Fame," stated Mr. Crawford. "Working
with our Land Surveyors across the state and Apprentice Committees has been an
extremely rewarding experience."
Mr. Crawford is known statewide because of his
exemplary leadership efforts in Land Surveying and for promoting excellence and
an entrepreneurial sprit in his profession. Bob has been extensively involved
in professional activities and serves as Director for ACEC California Orange County.
In addition he is a member of ACEC Council of Professional Surveyors,
California Land Surveyors Association, and a Trustee of Southern California
Surveyors Joint Apprenticeship Committee and Trust. Bob also serves as a
member of the RBF Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Bob has served as a leader in the Land Surveying
and Civil Engineering fields for over 35 years, serving as Executive Vice
President at RBF since 1992. His foresight and leadership have played a key
role in the growth of the Land Surveying, GIS and Construction Management
across the State.
