Redlands, California-Replete with enhancements, ESRI's new ArcGIS 9.3 software will help people using a geographic information system (GIS) accomplish more than ever before: manage spatial information more efficiently, perform better geospatial analysis, and serve maps and other information to the Web or intranet more swiftly. A no-cost Web seminar will update ESRI software users on these improvements and inform them about the upcoming ArcGIS 9.3 seminar series that will be coming to more than 30 cities worldwide. The series will begin in September.

The live training seminar Sneak Peek-The ArcGIS 9.3 Seminar Series will air on ESRI's Training and Education Web site at www.esri.com/lts on July 24, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. (Pacific daylight time).

Feedback from ESRI software users helped guide the development of ArcGIS 9.3, which includes new features and functionality that will improve the entire GIS workflow. The live training seminar will mainly focus on the enhancements to ArcGIS and include demonstrations that highlight developments in data management, mapping and visualization, and spatial analysis.

The presenters will discuss how to
  • Manage asset information more efficiently.
  • Facilitate better planning and analysis.
  • Get information into and out of the field in real time.
  • Provide a comprehensive view of operations for more accurate decision making.
The presenters also will talk about what people can expect to learn at the ArcGIS 9.3 seminar series, which will be complimentary to ESRI software users, and provide them with registration information.

This seminar is designed for people currently using ArcGIS technology. A broadband Internet connection and an ESRI Global Account are needed to watch the seminar. Creating a global account is easy and free: visit www.esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address. A few weeks after the live presentation, the seminar will be archived and available for viewing on the ESRI Training and Education Web site at www.training.esri.com/campus/seminars/recordings.cfm.

For more information about this free live training seminar, as well as upcoming classes, visit www.esri.com/training.
