LIVERMORE, CA -- Topcon Positioning System’s new digital UHF radio – the TRL-35 – is the first offering in the next generation of radio design for RTK communications.
The TRL-35 uses digital signal processing (DSP) technology and advanced digital design and will “deliver greater reliability over longer distances than previous UHF radio technology,” Jason Killpack, TPS senior product marketing manager said.
At 6 x 2.9 x 2.8 inches (height, width and depth, respectively), the “incredibly small digital radio is PacCrest PDL and TrimTalk compatible. With an environmental rating of IP66, the radio is dust-proof and rain-proof, making it the perfect radio for harsh job sites,” Killpack said.
New machine control kits for both the Topcon Legacy-E and the TRL-35 radio are available now. It is also compatible with GR-3, HiPer+ and HiPer XT integrated receivers; it has a wide frequency range of 410 to 470 MHz with programmable bandwidths.
