NORCROSS, GA, September 18, 2007 – eGPS Solutions, Inc. formally announces the expansion of their real-time, permanent base station network’s coverage area to include the entire states of Georgia and Florida creating a coverage area greater than 112,000 square miles.

eGPS Solutions’ network provides positioning services to professionals in the surveying, mapping, construction, engineering, GIS, and agriculture industries. Through the utilization of both Trimble RTKNet network software and GEO++ GNSMART network software together with private and publicly owned GPS continuously operating reference stations, eGPS Solutions now rivals the largest public RTK networks in the United States and beyond.

According to Lonnie Sears, President of eGPS Solutions, “We have merged the latest technologies in the positioning industries to bring network users the very best in network services, accuracy, precision and reliability.” He adds, “All RTK users in Georgia and Florida, regardless of manufacturer’s brand, can convert their base stations into additional rovers and start to reap productivity increases on the eGPS Solutions network. This is a huge boon for the roughly 2,600+ professionals in these two states.”

Barely three years old, eGPS Solutions is one of the hottest young companies on the American scene. In July 2004, with two employees, the company introduced a base station network coverage area encompassing slightly more than 10,000 square miles over metropolitan Atlanta and north Georgia. Today, ten employees, who the company calls the network behind the network, service a coverage area ten times the network’s original size.
