SOFTWARE BY D'ZIGN released a revised and expanded second edition of its programming workbook, "Surveying Solutions for the hp33s," which gives step-by-step instructions for input of programs into the Hewlett-Packard 33s scientific calculator. The programs include traversing, inversing, normal intersection routines, circular and vertical curves, vertical intersection, triangle solutions and more. Programs are included for adding and subtracting in degrees, minutes and seconds directly, and the user has the option of working in either azimuth or bearing/quad in the coordinate geometry programs. The book includes user instructions and examples for each program, and has been expanded based on suggestions from users over the past year. The Hewlett-Packard 33s two-line display scientific calculator with 32k memory is allowed for use on the NCEES tests. (Software by D'Zign, Tollhouse, Calif.)
