Home » Photo Science, Inc. Provides Emergency Services in Response to Hurricane Wilma
Photo Science, Inc. recently completed an emergency task order awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District to acquire aerial photography of Hurricane Wilma's path across the State of Florida.
The purpose of the project was to provide imagery for emergency response and damage assessment. The project area consisted of 3,200 square miles along the coast of Florida, from Fort Pierce to the southern-most portion of the Florida Keys. This imagery will allow for the visual indication of damages areas and quantify the degree of damage (heavy, moderate, light) within those areas.
