Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions, Huntsville, Ala., announced the first annual Poster Competition for students and the Best Practices Competition for educators. The worldwide competition recognizes projects and programs based on Intergraph’s GeoMedia or MGE technology. Students are invited to display their creative and innovative use of GIS software in the classroom by submitting a poster. Educators are encouraged to submit entries that illustrate groundbreaking GIS programs in the classroom. Deadline for entry submissions is Jan. 31, 2002. Competition winners will be announced in March 2002 and will receive cash prizes as well as on-stage recognition at GeoSpatial World 2002, the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community International Training and Management Conference, June 10-12, 2002 in Atlanta, Ga.
