The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), Park Ridge, Ill., hired Bill Gentes as the new executive director. Gentes previously worked for the Paper Industry Management Association where he was director of member services. Gentes is currently the Mayor of Round Lake, Ill.
Trimble, Sunnyvale, Calif., announced that Joseph F. Denniston Jr. has assumed the role as vice president of operations. Denniston is responsible for worldwide manufacturing, distribution and logistics strategy.
