U.S. Geological SurveyappointedKaren Siderelisas Geographic Information Officer (GIO). As GIO, Siderelis is responsible for guiding the formulation of agency strategies that will provide information management solutions and ensure the integrity of USGS scientific information. Siderelis will also ensure that USGS information management policy supports its mission and will provide leadership in coordinating USGS scientific information management with other government agencies.

Goodkind & O’Dea Inc., Rutherford, N.J., named Gary E. Neuwerth, PhD, PE, as president. Neuwerth provides leadership to over 500 employees located in eight northeastern offices offering comprehensive consulting engineering, architectural and construction inspection services.

Simon Baksh joined Applanix Corporation, Richard Hill, Ontario, Canada, as product manager, land survey applications. Baksh is responsible for the development and introduction of the POS/LS (position and orientation system for land survey) product line. The POS/LS will provide continuous position information in a variety of survey conditions.

3Di, LLC, Easton, Md., named Kevin J. Reardon president and chief operating officer. Reardon is responsible for all aspects of 3Di’s operational management.

GBA Master Series Inc., Lenexa, Kan., appointed Joel A. Knight, PE, manager east region, and Allison L. Tuttle, EIT, manager west region. Knight’s responsibilities include coordinating software sales efforts and business development in the midwestern and southeastern United States. Tuttle coordinates regional sales and marketing efforts in the western United States, and provides implementation services for the company’s infrastructure management software.
