Leica Geosystems annouced its Advanced CORS System, a GPS Reference Station with ControlStation software. The GPS Reference Station and software performs the task of running continuous checks on the positioning data of other reference stations to create a targeted network. If the data is questionable for any reason, then it is disabled. The targeted users for the GPS reference station are operators of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) networks, such as state departments of transportation.
