The U.S. Space & Rocket Center developed Destination Lab, a hands-on interactive training course. The attendees of Destination Lab will participate in a three-and-a-half day seminar, which includes utilizing GIS, GPS, remote sensing and communications technology in a project-based environment.
Destination Lab is limited to 30 participants and custom-designed. The "Utilizing GIS and GPS to Solve Your Infrastructure Problems in the Power, Utility and Local Government Sectors" seminar will be held on May 6-9, 2001. It targets city and state planners, utility mangers, municipal staff, developers and city officials.
