FieldWorker Products Ltd. Released new Java-based Mobile Data Collection and Data Synchronization software for handheld computing devices that run Windows CE, Pocket PC, EPOC32 (Symbian) and Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME. Devices that are supported are the Compaq Ipaq, Casio E-125, Fujitsu PenCentra 200, HP Jornada, Intermec 6651, Stingray 700 and more. FieldWorker uses a meta-database for synchronization that allows the FieldWorker software to automatically update applications on handheld devices in the field by changing the applications on the FieldWorker Synchronization Server software. The Sync Server updates all affected application on every handheld device in the field the next time each user exchanges data online.
