Series focuses on data issues for LBS, GIS and navigation.
Tele Atlas North America, Menlo Park, Calif., the United States arm of Tele Atlas, will launch a new series of free educational online industry seminars. The seminars focus on data in the GIS location-based services and navigation arenas. The first series will focus on how to improve routing and directions in commercial websites and intranets, especially those built on ESRI's ArcIMS GIS software. This series will take place on Nov. 27, 2001 at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and on Nov. 29, 2001, 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
