Nikon Releases NPL-821
August 14, 2001
Nikon, Melville, N.Y., introduced its NPL-821 Pulse Laser Station, a reflectorless total station based on the Field Station DTM-801 Series. The NPL-821 features Nikon’s co-axial focusing system reflectorless electronic distance measuring (EDM). Objects that are not in focus are not measured because the laser spot locks directly on the target, and users can check the exact size of the circular laser spot in the reticle. The NPL-821 has an angle accuracy of 3”/1 mgon.
