The Open GIS Consortium, Wayland, Mass., hosted a meeting to address its upcoming Open Location Services (OpenLS) initiative. Attendees defined the requirements and scope of the first activity, a testbed to develop fundamental interfaces and services to allow many location solutions to interoperate.
