Teletype Co., Boston, Mass., released its WorldNavigator-Europe, a wireless GPS and mapping program with door-to-door routing features. The company also released Wireless PCMCIA and Compact Flash GPS receivers with built-in antennas.

The receivers have been designed especially for use with Compaq iPaq Pocket PCs. The combination of these GPS receivers and the software allows travelers to navigate worldwide via land, air and water using an integrated device that eliminates wires. The software program also features free support of the Terra Server to import geocoded aerial and topographic maps. TeleType offers specialized add-on maps for marine and aviation.
