SOKKIA, Olathe, Kansas, released Stratus. Stratus is a complete GPS receiver system for precise surveying that features a fully integrated GPS receiver, antenna and battery in one system.

Stratus provides a single external power and communication port to provide versatility in the field. An optional D-Cell battery pack as well as power cables are available as external power options. Stratus’ integrated antenna uses Pinwheel Technology that offers a phase center and the ability to block multipath signals to the same level as a choke-ring antenna. The Stratus handheld controller is optional. Stratus features one-button operation.
