This picture is of a young girl looking through an old 4 leveling screw
transit. This was during the annual Florida Surveying and Mapping Society
(South Florida Chapter) picnic.
We had a lot of fun with surveying games
like "Guess the distance", "Pace the distance", "Clap a 90", "Guess the
height of the object (a tree)" and "Guess the angle". It's nice to see
co-workers and fellow surveyors in a "laid back" atmosphere just having fun
and being proud of our profession.
I want to hear from you. Tell me how we can improve.
