Through this alliance NavCom’s Safari Network SR-7100, will join the array of communications solutions offered by Bridge Technology to its transportation clients.

NavCom Technology Inc., a leader in precise positioning and communications technology, announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with solutions provider and systems integrator Bridge Technology, Inc. Through this alliance NavCom’s award winning Safari Network™ SR-7100, will join the array of communications solutions offered by Bridge Technology to its transportation clients. The new solution will combine Bridge Technology’s unique Next-Shuttle, with NavCom’s Safari Network. Bridge Technology’s Next-Shuttle is an integrated real time transportation tracking system that enables airport shuttle services, public and private transportation organizations, and municipalities to monitor their vehicles at all times.

The Safari Network SR-7100 series by NavCom is the world's first multi-protocol broadband wireless communications networking product capable of integrating both fixed and mobile communications requirements into one seamless network.

“Safari’s distinctive multi-port architecture plus its ability to deliver IP packets at high speed over a wide area by utilizing the 2.4GHz license free spectrum allows real time continuous monitoring of vehicles to be done in a flexible and cost effective fashion,” said NavCom’s Director of Wireless Communication Products Jalal Alisobhani.

“The integration of Next-Shuttle with the Safari Network creates a simple turnkey solution that integrates quickly and easily with existing transportation systems to provide a secure, independent, client-owned wireless communications infrastructure for airport shuttles, school transport busses and for the mass transit industry resulting in increased security, efficiency and customer satisfaction,” said Bridge Technology President and CEO Ian McDonald.
