Home » Ordnance Survey and Laser Scan Host Free Location Data Seminar 04.15.2003
Seminar targets transport industry professionals and system integrators
and independent consultants working in the transport sector.
National mapping agency, Ordnance Survey,
is working in conjunction with geospatial data experts, Laser-Scan, to host
a free seminar for transport industry professionals and system integrators
and independent consultants working in the transport sector.
The half-day event reveals how detailed location data can be used to
research, plan, route and deliver goods and services right to the doorstep -
safely evading common disruptions to the supply chain such as congestion,
prohibitive fuel costs and security problems. Experts from both Ordnance
Survey and Laser-Scan will be on hand to explain how transport professionals
can improve services and efficiency, and enhance the end user experience, by
putting geographic data at the centre of their operations.
